I have created the Impactful Leadership Manifesto to encourage leaders to consider the impact they are having on their various stakeholders.

It's easy to overplay what we input into our businesses (such as?hours invested), without considering the impact of these actions. The most successful leaders of the best companies understand that?impact on employees, clients, partners and shareholders matters more than input.

If you asked your employees to describe your current business strategy, what response would you get?

If you're confident they would repeat the actual strategy (in their own words), congratulations! This means your plan is both understandable and memorable.?

Alternately, if you think they would respond with a vague answer (or a shrug of the shoulders) then there's work to be done...?

Simply stated, if your employees don’t know the strategy it's going to be difficult for them to demonstrate the purpose and enthusiasm you desire, and most importantly to implement your plan at all.?

Creating a compelling strategy is not quick or easy to achieve, which is why some leaders neglect this essential task. Whilst this is understandable, it's also flawed thinking because your strategy represents the direction your business is moving in. How can you lead people if they don't know where you are leading them??

Your?strategy should differentiate your organisation and impact all its activities. Believing that your inherent contrast to your competitors will make stakeholders choose you is an unrealistic approach. You cannot compete without a proper gameplan.?

Hello, I’m Nick Cramp. I’ve been working as business owner and coach now for around three decades.
