Simplified IT Services 2017 Review

It has been nine years this year for our business. It has been years of consistently working hard and treating each year with hunger and drive as if it was the first year. It has been nine years with one primary as our critical success factor; hunger and drive from all within the business, allowing the business and individuals collectively to achieve growth year on year. It has been nine years since taking a small business founded between two people and growing it alongside others who are not colleagues or employees, but whom are all regarded as being family, a Simplified Family.

 Simplified IT Services will be celebrating it’s tenth year at the end of next year with all of those part of the Simplified Family, who will all be equally as proud for what has been achieved by the business and each and everyone one of them inside the business. While financially viability and profitability is important to any business, usually it is the primary concern of the business which doesn’t reflect to being true value for all of those who actually build, drive and comprise of the business. True value at our business is building each other up, leading one another and mentoring each other, creating a culture around people and not one around money – the value we advocate is the success and growth in human capital, with financial capital coming into fruition as a by-product of the individuals success. It is with a team of individuals who have successful thinking and team work as top of mind that we know our tenth year will be superseded with many more to come. As a business, it is key for us to mention the people alongside us as the founders who comprise of the business, as it is a collective effort by all that ultimately and fundamentally defines a business.

 This year we have expanded our international Service Level Agreement client-base to Mauritius, Dubai and Montenegro. This achievement has been one we hadn’t expected, but a core component to it is whereby those part of the business are given free reign to realise their own value, allowing them to do the unexpected which creates growth for both them and the business. This year we have expanded our Innovation Technology portfolio and have closed off more strategic business opportunities than ever before, but a critical part of this was creating the springboard which allowed them to become more strategic and defining their own growth as suitable for them – it is not good leadership when people are being forced with what is solely suitable for the business and not necessarily to them. Ultimately, this year has been our most successful throughout our nine year period, but solely and specifically because we have allowed the people in the business to become their own success and drive the business. This year we focused not on celebrating the business, but rather instead on celebrating the people within the business – the business is the vehicle but the people within it are the fuel taking us all to where we need and want to be.
