Simplicity is Genius on NC2 @ Ignite allowing customer to focus on innovative ideas.

Microsoft Ignite was exciting for me as it was my first in-person conference since the start of COVID. Zoom can't truly replicate the human interaction or focused engagement you experience during one-on-one, in-person conversations. It was great to hear Satya Nadella’s insights about Microsoft’s commitment to AI. Here at Nutanix, we’ve noticed growing interest among our customers in harnessing AI to streamline business operations, boost revenue, and embrace the “do more with less” philosophy. I thought the messaging was on-point to what we are seeing with customers looking at our GPT-in-a box . Nutanix is focused on delivering a hybrid multicloud platform that enables businesses to run any application, at any location. The Azure bare-metal-as-a-service platform used by Nutanix Cloud Clusters? (NC2) was co-developed between our two organizations, and NC2 has since allowed customers to have a single way of carrying out Day 2 operations regardless of location. With NC2, it's simply another Nutanix cluster deployed natively into existing Azure customer accounts, which delivers on the promise to quickly extend on-premises datacenters into Azure. Once on-premises environments are extended by ExpressRoute or a VPN, customers can intelligently place workloads wherever they’re needed to provide organizations with the flexibility and agility to respond to every changing business need. While moving data can be relatively easy, allowing applications to work in the same as they did prior to a migration is a whole other story. Previously, the process of application refactoring was a complex, costly and time-consuming endeavor, dealing with a large list of app dependencies which are typically not found until the application migration phase. NC2 solves these issues and makes application placement planning a slam dunk. ?

Watch as we easily move a tiered application from on-premises into Azure while retaining the previous network persona. On top of this, we were showing bursting Citrix desktops into Azure to accommodate for an increased head count scenario, such as an increase due to company mergers and acquisitions. Easy, repeatable, and consistent operations embody simplicity, and simplicity can be genius when it enables a business to seamlessly continue like nothing ever happened.
