? These days, everyone and their 4th cousin seems to be the 'know-it-all' to something.
Everybody and their 5th form classmate seems to be selling something. Everyone and their milkman has a secret 'blueprint' to success.
So why are they still struggling to pay their internet bill? ??
It's because none of that means squat if you can't convey your 'worth' through powerful content! So how do you devise compelling content strategy on Social Media - relevant to 'both' you and your audiences?
I'll share one of my personal secrets for Acepreneur:
????"Accessibility" ????
Information and its communication is best consumed by the receiver when packaged in as easy and humanly manner as possible. You do not need to throw a thesaurus at your readership’s head, nor do you need to use complicated, academic and pompous language in your content.
While creating content, think of your average reader as a layman with a minimal attention span and normal every-day vocabulary.
The fundamental goal of your content should be that it must naturally be digestible by the reader so that interest is roused instead of lost, information is understood instead of confused and action is taken instead of abandoned.
Infact, some industry experts say that your content language should fall between the understanding of a 5th-grade and an 8th-grade student. Simplicity is king!

5 年All true and well expressed, Ali. If I may expand a bit ... Microsoft Word has a built-in readability tool. It’s a version of the original, developed by Rudolf Flesch in the 1940s. It’s been updated and is known as Flesch-Kincaid. Your readability goal depends on your intended audience. A low-to-middle average might be right for a message aimed at a billion people. To engage a niche market you might want to use certain keywords that would challenge most of the billion. Readability tests measure variables such as vocabulary, sentence length and punctuation marks per sentence. If you’re testing a message in English, note that it varies widely by region and population. The tools may not adjust for this and therefore the results may not be accurate for your intended audience. Readability is a bit of a misnomer. Ease and speed of comprehension is what you really want to measure. Focus groups and A-B testing may be needed. Your goal should be to have each sentence flow naturally and logically from the previous one, while moving your argument forward with information and emotion.
