A Simple Way to Instantly Increase Your Employees' Engagement

I used to think that to get the most of my workforce, I needed to keep the focus on the goal and keep everyone accountable.


I was trusted for getting the job done...

But often I was doing it alone.


I got so frustrated...

I thought to myself "How could I be the only one who seems to care?"

I doubled down on my productivity to drive the entire business forward.


I was so focused on the business goals...

That I missed the boat...

I swam in the sea of stress & chaos alone...

Until I drowned.


Yes, that was me.


I was washed up on the beach...

I know how it feels when your WILL to keep moving and your capacity no longer matches up.


So why am I sharing this story?

Well, I learned that it's much easier if you get on the boat.

In fact, when you get on the boat, you'll go much faster & further (without burning out).

Or you can actually get onboard and start the engine so that the drive comes from within (and not relying on your will to move it forward).


Now, imagine the sea is the business context. What's happening around you is important, but it's not the only thing you need to worry about.


As the Leader, you are the captain, and you are responsible for the boat (the people in your charge) and setting the direction.


People are driven by their emotions, which get triggered as a result of what they WANT.


Emotions steer people towards what they WANT and away from what they don't want.


So what do they WANT?


That's your start engine button.


Do they want what you want?

If you've never explored it and just been pushing the business agenda forward, then it's likely what you want and what they want is NOT the same picture.


So here's the SECRET...

THE SIMPLEST WAY TO CREATE EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT, is to deliver to them a compelling mission that aligns with what they want.


To do this you'll need to do 3 things:


1?? Put down the business agenda long enough to connect with your employees.


I know your thinking "I don't have time" but you also don't have time to drown and wash up on the beach... Every single client fights this first piece but it's a game changer, trust me.


2?? Get to know intimately the picture of what they want, what gets their engine started.

Those 3 steps will allow you to take a breath and get the boat moving so you can steer rather than push & drag your employees to the finish line.
