Simple Solution to Every Issue in Your Life

Life is 10% of what happens to you and 90% of how you react to it. Each day we are faced with obstacles, tests, dilemmas and down right heart wrenching facts of life. It may be the loss of a loved one, a reprimand at work or simply a flat tire at the least opportune time. These are most likely things we will all face. It’s how you react to the situation that determines the outcome. You are all 100% for surviving bad days if you are reading this. Remember that. You have persevered. You have overcome things that you never thought you’d be strong enough to beat let alone face head on. As you go through your day, say to your self, “Is this a rumple strip, a speed bump or a Road Block”. 

Rumple strip- you can continue about your way, taking the issue in stride without losing much momentum. 

Speed Bump - probably a good idea to slow down, analyze the road ahead and proceed with caution

Road Block- You best stop. You will probably will want to carefully analyze the road ahead and figure out some alternatives to get through to your desired destination. 

 The problem we all face is that we don’t accurately read or even see the signs. Worst yet, we ignore them. We often drive through ignoring the roadblock and devastation occurs. We are left picking up the pieces like Chevy Chase in Family Vacation. We then continue to make poor choices based on the prior. 

 The flip side is that we need to carefully analyze the issues ahead. Are we blowing our issues out of proportion? Are we making Road Blocks out of rumple strips? 

 There is usually a simple solution to most of our issues. I’ve found that speaking to those that have been in a similar situation and have come out safely on the other side is my best option. Someone you know has been through what you are going through. Pick up the phone. Call someone. Don’t let that cell be a 50 lb weight keeping you from relief.
