A Simple Question (But Not An Easy Answer)
Hey,
So ponder on this very simple question for a moment.
Would you rather 100% of a really bad deal…
…or 50% of a really good deal?
The greedy part of you might opt for wanting it ALL.
The more rational part of you though will understand this:
…that half of something is better than all of nothing.
The trouble is, our decisions aren’t made by our rational brain.
Now I see this ALL the time with newbies coming into the real estate investing world.
They dive straight into Fix and Flipping because it is something they think they can control and keep all to themselves.
100% right…?
They understand the concept.
Here’s the thing.
They don’t know how to manage contractors. They don’t know how to raise capital. They don’t know whether it’s a good deal or not and they probably don’t have a strategy to sell it.
But it’s 100% their deal.
And because they don’t know what they are doing, it’s likely a really bad deal for them.
And I don’t just mean losing money.
There’s the stress and the heartache and the hit they’ll take on their confidence and self esteem.
It’s not worth it.
So if you’re new to real estate investing, what do you do to get started?

Remember that 50% of a good deal is better than 100% of a bad deal?
