1. It is always good to stay at home. Try to avoid moving to terrace or balcony and nearby houses.
2. If we go out and come back home, we need to wash hands with soap. Taking full bath is advisable.
3. Keep a distance of at least two meters from people. “Namaste” is the great method to greet people rather than hand shaking. Handshaking should be avoided.
4. Good and well cooked vegetarian diet is always preferable.
5. Avoid meat (sea food) products in this pendemic. Unhealthy, old or packed food should be avoided.
6. Vegetables or food items - rice, dhal, etc, should be cleaned at least thrice. Cleaning with saline water (water mixed with salt) is good.
7. Fully boiled water and boiled milk should be used for routine purposes. Taking warm water and vegetable soup is advisable. Taking “rasam”, at least once in two days is good for immunity.
8. Fresh lemon juice is good to drink both scientifically and philosophically.
9. After cleaning home/ floor, just spraying of water mixed with turmeric powder is good (the Indian traditional method).
10. Smoking, drinking- alcohol, certain unfavorable activities etc, should be avoided. It depletes body immunity.
11. Using South Indian style of organic dhoop sticks or "Sambrani" daily at home is good. The fumes of Sambrani possess antimicrobial activity.
12. Generation of metal bell sound at home (while in prayer –Indian style) is also good to eliminate pathogens.

14. Gargle with warm saline water for 2 to 3 times per day is good.
15. Keeping of fresh neem leaves at the entrance and also inside of the home is good.
16. Taking of South Indian traditional food items with required amount of spices will work against microbes.
17. Face masks will be alright but we need to handle it in a proper way.
18. We need to have strong mind with positive attitude. We have the potential to control the disease.
19. While working from home, we need to work in an easy way, that is, without much pressure. Long hours of reading books, watching TV and movies should be avoided. We need required hours or normal hours of sleep. We need to follow biological rhythm.
20. In case of fever, cough and other unhealthy issues, we need to call the concerned toll free number or physicians for assistance.

4 年Sir.. a request, write up an article stressing the microbial strength of sambrani. I see Ayurvedic centres in Malaysia always do a round of this at the end of treatment hours... there must be some goodnes. Now that kids are going back to public , I am hoping to influence some tuition centres to practise this at the end of their day.
