Simple is Good

Navigating the Google Cloud waters where smooth sailing is a virtual guarantee. Come sail away.
Albert Einstein is credited with saying “Genius is making complex ideas simple, not making simple ideas complex.” Arguably, every cloud platform has its PROs and CONs. However, my early impressions while cutting my "cloud teeth" were that the AWS platform was a sprawling ensemble of disjointed tools. With determination and ingenuity, you could get the work done--but not without pain.
Let's start with a simple idea. We register a domain name. Now, we want to forward email from this new domain to an existing email account. On the Amazon platform, this requires five (5) complicated steps. On the Google Cloud platform (GCP), this requires ZERO steps. GCP lets you forward multiple email accounts while you configure your new domain name. The option presents itself precisely when you require it. Simple. It's pure genius.
