Simple demos - ChatGPT 3.5/4.0

Simple demos - ChatGPT 3.5/4.0

Recently I was invited to join a virtual meeting with a group of HR professionals, from various companies, on the topic of AI. In that call touched based on what 'AI' is, some key developments over the past year as well as the potential HR use cases of AI.

During that call I also showed them some (very) simple examples on how ChatGPT 3.5 and 4.0 could be used. In case you are interested, I'm sharing those demo's below but please note it's without audio and they they are simple examples. Also, if you play the videos and they look fuzzy, then click on the little settings icon to change it to HD quality.

Creating JD and generate interview questions

In this demo I ask it to create and rewrite a Job Description. I also ask it to prepare interview questions and even roleplay an interview with itself.

Creating a formula or VBA code in Excel

In this short demo I am showing how by describing your excel file (not uploading it) you can have ChatGPT help you develop formula's or even develop VBA code (to have your own PC send emails based on your excel file, for instance).

Summarize an article

In this short demo I show how ChatGPT can summarize information and also rewrite the summary based on your request.

The above demo's reflect what ChatGPT 3.5 can do. For below you need ChatGPT 4.0, which you get through ChatGPT Plus, Teams or Enterprise .

Summarize and compare documents

In this demo I show you can you give a file (85 page PDF annual CSR report of Apple in this case) and ask it to summarize a specific part (People strategy part). Then I add a 110 PDF CSR Report from Volkswagen (in German) and ask it to make a table with the differences between the two.

Search and create

In this demo I show how you can ask ChatGPT 4.0 to find information on the internet and create an excel file based on it. I will ask ChatGPT to look up minimum wages in various US cities. I also notice it is not entirely complete hence need to ask a follow up question, which is why 'domain expertise' (ie you know something about that topic) as well critical thinking (eg challenging ChatGPT if it is complete or correct) is important.

Image Recognition

In this demo I show you can give ChatGPT an image (about an unsafe situation) and then it analyzes the image based on your request.

Diagram recognition

In this example I give it a drawing, for instance something you see on a whiteboard, and ask it to explain what it sees.

Using and finding an existing GPT in the GPT Store

In this example I show how to use a GPT build by somebody else. In this case I show the use of Consensus, the GPT that searches through 200m scientific journals.

Asking the Consensus GPT a follow up question

In this demo I show how I ask the opposite question and what output I get.

Searching for a GPT that can help me with my job

In this demo I show you you can use the Organization.AI GPT to find a GPT that could help you with your job. This shows that you also need to look with a balanced view at the outcomes and think through what makes sense and applies to your situation.

Involve another GPT in the same conversation with a GPT

in this demo I show you in the same conversation you can pull in another GPT by using @ in the chat. Similar to having multiple people around the table. When I ask this other GPT (Process Engineering GPT) about what standards it knows, it will talk about ISO standards for instance.

Creating a Custom GPT

In this demo I show how fast and easy it is to create a GPT. I am creating a GPT that will help me to develop AI use cases.

Configuration tab of a Custom GPT

In this demo I show the Configuration tab of the GPT where I can add more instructions or files. I show how easy it is to amend instructions or add a file, that that GPT then takes into account. I also show how you can test on the right if the GPT does what you want it to do.

Trying out the new Custom GPT

In this demo I show how I, or others - in case I choose to share it - see when they use my GPT.

Hundreds of GPTs to help people with their jobs

In demo I show you people can use my site (www.organizational.ai) to find GPTs that can help with their jobs.

The above demonstrations do not take into account additional functionality that ChatGPT offers as well, such as how to use their API Assistants or how to communicate with ChatGPT via an API.

I hope this is helpful.
