A Simple Candidate Experience
A view on the Candidate experience in a recruitment process
We have all been there before and been the candidate in the recruitment scenario. You get the call after you have either applied for the job, or you get head hunted through various channels. You're interested in the job and keen to go through the recruitment process. The recruiter schedules in a interview for you to meet with them so they can flesh out the role and if you would be the right fit for the client. At this point application forms are likely involved and you think "Ah great, I haven't even used a pen in weeks and now I have to fill in all this", so you spend the next 15 minutes vigorously filling out all the information that was likely already in your CV and also trying to remember where your license was because that's also asked for. By the time you're finished, you feel like you have applied for a home loan instead of just have an interview for your dream job. And what's worse is if you don't get the role, you'll do this all over again at another agency. Or this could be much worse, you could have this application form sent to you in PDF and asked to fill this in ahead of the interview, you now have to use your imaginative home printer or find a local print store to help you adding that time to the time you already have had to take off to attend an interview.
In all fairness, as an ex recruiter, we were taught that if a candidate is dedicated to the possible role and recruitment process they will do all of the above, and therefore we know they won't muck us around throughout the process, especially come offer stage since they are clearly interested and committed.
The game changes here when you're competing with another agency who has a EASIER candidate experience. Let's face it, as much as we would love 100% candidate loyalty, that very seldom happens in today's market. The candidate will go where it is easier. So if you're asking the candidate to fill in an elaborate PDF document or come in and fill it in at the office, and you're up against an agency who is offering them to fill in EASY pre-filled smart logic forms that would be in their inbox in a matter of seconds? It's a no brainer which agency would get the candidate right?
I can help! What a lot of clients don't realize, is that Secured Signing is more than just a signature platform.

We use HTML5 technology to create smart, easy, mobile friendly forms that integrate with your CRM system. This puts you in a brand new league as a business, tapping into that top tier candidate market, where candidates are statistically placed within a week and prefer the easier candidate experience over anything else. When we say smart logic, we mean no more double checking information, the form will be able to verify some of the details on it's own as well as pull information already from the candidate record into the form, saving your candidate time re entering information already in their CV.
And as for the additional documents needed? Yeah we can collect those through the form to, your candidate can upload their supporting documents directly from their mobile and this will automatically save under the candidate record within your CRM in one smooth signing experience.
Cool right? We think so too.
