Similarities Between Two “Soldiers and Brothers”

1. Both born and brought up in the same Dhaka Khilgaon, even inside same house.

2. Both had primary schooling at the same Khilgaon Municipality Primary School and there after studied Class Six and Class Seven (first half year) at Khilgaon Government High School. 

3. Both studied at Faujdarhat Cadet College (FCC) for six years. 

4. Both are also Alumni of Bangladesh Military Academy (BMA), Engineering Center and School of Military Engineering (ECSME), School of Infantry and Tactics (SI&T), Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Center and School (EME Center & School), Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST), Defence Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC). 

5. Both had appointments at FCC and BMA.

6. Both had Foreign Course at China. Both could also speak Chinese (one very expert while other very little)

7. Both have visited Kuwait and Saudi Arab officially and performed Umrah during their official visit. Younger had perform Holi Hajj too in personal capacity. 

8. Both served for African people putting on UN Blue helmet. Both have served in abroad twice. 

10. Both served in intelligence appoints at Brigade HQs.

11. Both served in Army HQs as General Staff Officer 1.

12. Both had psc, MDS, foreign language course (one did Chinese Course while other did French Language Course). 

13. Both commanded Army Battalions (fighting arms of Engineer and Infantry). 

14. Both were Chief Instructors at Military Schools (SMI & ECSME).

15. Both had side by side family accommodations in the same Rajanigandha Residential Area, Dhaka Cantonment. 

16. Both served at Savar Cantonment, Bogra Cantonment, and Bandarban, Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT). Both were also involved in making new roads at CHT (Mohalchori and Bandarban area).

17. Both have played golf at Bogra Cantonment and Army Golf Club and member of both. 

18. Both are member of Old Faujian Association, One was member of Cadet College Club while other just was planning to be member of this club too. 

19. Both have driven the same car (elder brother after buying another car has presented his previous car to younger brother).

20. Both have only sons but no daughter. Both taught their sons swimming at the same swimming pool of Dhaka Army Stadium. Sons of both are also equally brilliant in their respective fields. 

21. Both served with Brig Gen Hashem, Engrs, Brig Gen Wahid, Engrs, Brig Gen Ridwan, Inf, Brig Gen Masud, AMC, Col Sadeque, Inf, very closely staying in the same camp, building and complex). 

22. Both had interest for special projects during active service and were involved in many special projects. Both used to like Gardening, Face book interactions, helping others out of the way. 

23. Both were specially good in drafting or writing official note sheets or letters. 

24. Both were very good organizers of major events. Both used to work unseen and without being reminded. Both have/ had too much self respect and as such were very hard working too. Both were physically stronger. Both also had very good relationship with others. 

25. Both looked similar, people say. Both were also equally emotional. 

26. Both have served for Bangladesh Army for 25+ years. One opted for normal retirement considering service length while other’s final retirement from this world was decided by the Creator, The Almighty Allah. One is now resting inside the graveyard while other is trying to decorate the graveyard saying, "May Allah Rest You in Peace and Bless You the Best Jannat in your next forever life". Ameen
