SIMIAN joins forces with Aspects Total Training Ltd

For myself and the rest of the Simian team, it makes a great change to be able to announce some positive news amidst the challenges of the Coronavirus pandemic, as we join forces with Aspects Total Training Ltd.

This joint venture will see Simian operating from Aspects’ training facility in Coventry, building on the CISRS scaffolding training that Aspects Total Training currently provide.

Headed up by Simian FD, Jackie Thomason, who will be co-director alongside Michelle McFall, the joint venture means that Simian’s training expertise will reach an even wider geographical area. Simian has expanded rapidly in recent years, opening centres in London, Weston-super-Mare and Anglesey, as well as numerous smaller centres throughout the UK. With this new centre, we will once again be able to expand our training offering to the Midlands.

Speaking of this new venture, Financial Director here at Simian, Jackie Thomason, has said:

“We are extremely pleased to formally agree a partnership with Simian and we are looking forward to benefiting from the wealth of industry knowledge and expertise they will bring to the venture. We are confident that the centre will release its full potential and build on the early success we have enjoyed. Our agreement opens up opportunities for the centre and will enable the JV to develop and realise our long-term objectives at a faster pace, and this will ultimately for the benefit of the scaffolding industry in and around the Midlands region.”

MD at Simian, Simon Hughes has also said:

“We’re absolutely delighted to expand our scaffolding training provision into another geographical area, and this will enable us to service our growing list of safety consultancy clients in the Midlands region with a full CISRS training offering. Initially, in addition to the usual CISRS shorter duration courses, we will be offering CISRS Part One courses, but we will extend this to include Part 2 courses by Autumn, and Advanced courses by the end of the year.”

I’m sure the rest of the Simian team would agree when I say that news of our expansion is very welcome following a tumultuous few months for the entire industry, and represents that start of an exciting time for the Simian business as a whole.
