SIM: From Ready to Done

Today lets co-share and learn about SIM and what it means. We all know Frameworks are details and supporting structure on subjects, in essence the methodologies and guidebooks. We have a plethora of these frameworks out there. SIM is one of them, SIM is the ServiceNow Implementation Methodology. These are templates and blueprints to provide best practices guides to development, delivery, and deployment professionals in their implementation journeys. SIM encompasses the Processes, Technology, Collaterals, Expertise. It’s a repository of lessons learned through previous deployment of the bouquet of product offerings on the ServiceNow platform by the community of ServiceNow professionals. These serve as foundations and baseline which enable an acceleration from Ready to done. Processes: utilizing a phased process approach dubbed IPKT from Initiation to closure of engagements, the Technology: One ServiceNow platform ever evolving with new and adaptive toolsets, the Collaterals: templates, checklist, process maps and guides all make up the artifacts, you name it, they got it. Expertise: The ecosystem of technologists, from the ServiceNow expert service folks and the ever-growing community.
