The collection of the young, made in Italy brand fascinated Silvia Rizzo, who felt great affinity with Tacchi a Cavallo’s values.

“I think that a foulard is an elegant but also a casual accessory, a perfect detail for many different occasions. It’s an accessory that highlights a pure equestrian style”, declared Silvia.

“For that reason, I was happy to accept when Martina Boccia asked me

to be the ambassador of her collection. I’m a big fan of everything

that has to do with fashion and if the brand is also a young made

in Italy reality, that produces handmade quality articles, well,

in that case I don’t have any doubt”. 

“There are two models that particularly inspired me”, continued Silvia: “the one with the blue background and the ochre one. Blue is an extremely elegant color, that I love. This model matches perfectly with my favorite sunglasses! The ochre foulard made me think to my horse Sal, my partner on the field. We have been together since many years and I feel particularly related with him. The foulard is perfect for his coat.”

  Silvia Rizzo, Italian dressage’s pride

Born in 1976, Silvia started riding since she was a teenager. In 1990, she started with dressage, while from 1992 to 2004 she competed in eventing. But she never forgot her first love, so she came back to dressage in 2004. Since 2009, she started competing in international events, with good results: the best are the first place in the national GP in Wellington, and the silver medal at the European Championships of Lusitano horses in Gesves, Belgium, in 2014. The following year, she arrived fourth at the GP special of the “only invitational” 5* event in Doha, while in 2016 she obtained the third place of the GP Freestyle of the 3 stars event in Valencia. Again in Valencia, she conquered the first place of the GP Consolation in CDI 3 stars, in 2017.

Silvia is a big fan of fashion and she carried on this passion also in the world of dressage, not just for her personal delight, but also for the love of her sport. The uniforms, the helmets, the tack: everything can help dressage earn new fans and Silvia always wanted to give more style to her competitions.

“Many years ago, I decided to bring something new in dressage, to make it more interesting for everybody” declared Silvia. “I switch my clothes and tack regularly and I always get the most amazing feedback and support from all spectators!”.

This passion did not go unnoticed: during a 5 stars event in Qatar, Silvia received some very special compliments, from the Italian King of fashion Valentino. “I love high fashion and when Valentino told me he was impressed by my horse and my look, it was a real honor to me. He expressed his congratulations for my elegance and for the helmet I was wearing: he told me I was divine and I could not believe to my ears!” .

 Her sophisticated style made her winning the “Chi è Chi Awards 2015” “for

 exporting Italian elegance all over the world, by riding her horses; for her  

 sensibility for fashion; for her talent to make trendy a very exclusive sport like 

 dressage. When she rides her horse, she creates a magic of elegance and style:
