Silence is no longer an OPTION...
I am going to release videos of my speeches from the series titled "Silence Is No Longer An Option."
These were produced in 2011 and many of them were presented to selected audience in East Hampton, NY - I lived in Sagaponack, NY and continue to call it my home.
The first one will be my speech on U.S. foreign policy blunders in regards to Pakistan titled "Say No To Pakistan."
I am proud of my stances and everything I said then. However, looking back I wish my tone was different. I am solidly footed with my faith of Latter Day Saints now and I am simply astonished by the love and support from my Muslim Family in Bangladesh and my family in the U.S.
That faith, also known as mormonism asks of me to be meek. My passion often leads me to speak in a way that is not akin to meekness
My Hero, my Father Shaheed Syed Shamsud Doha was brutally killed by invading Pakistani army - beaten to death with a field Hockey stick - was a very meek man.
I will continue to work on my meekness but I will not back away from substance of my arguments for social justice in the world including that in Pakistan.
I love all people regardless of nationality, race, color, sexual orientation, but most importantly gender and religion.
I DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING BUT LOVE FOR EVERY HUMAN BEING.
However, many of us has been enormously blessed with the opportunity to have the means and voice to state our case in the discourses globally and I firmly believe that can be done without hate or fear mongering.
A significant portion of the content of the series of speeches and articles contain my call to action in the Muslim communities asking Muslims, particularly "the academia" to search our souls to change undeniable prevalence of hate for Jews and Israel.
I am more than sanguine that my assessment is a fact - and I am going to stick to it and vehemently oppose any proliferation of hate for anyone but particularly hatred towards Jewish people and Israel.
I no longer subscribe to the religion of Islam but absolutely stand by and know that overwhelmingly vast portion of Muslims are kind, loving, meek and faithful children of God and that is my root.
God bless all of us as we come together as global citizens.
In fine, people of Pakistan please forgive me if I offend you anyway by my words in the speech titled "Say No To Pakistan" which will be released today.
Here is that video.
