The Silence of the Lambs

Now that the main benefactors of great horses, great riders and great racing have become the "silence of the lambs" in the ridiculous riding crop changes railroaded through the Ky racing commission, the horsemen will have to live with the results that will handicap this sport beyond belief. Yesterday and today's incredible racing at Ascot should be a lesson through the demonstration of what the sport can achieve! The dereliction through ignorance and lack of practical experience from the rule changes enacted yesterday, if spread throughout horse racing in this country, will not only change the American Stud Book, but will destroy the very essence of pedigree!
