Silence = Death

Silence = Death

How can I make academics and activists understand that sounding an alarm is meaningless and silence on the sidelines fatal?

We need more forces.

The global academic community — faculty, staff, alumni, and far and away the most important, students — must come off the benches, must come out of the shadows, must end their silence and disengagement, their “neutrality.”

Today universities around the world are controlled by MBAs, not a PhD in sight. A few — notably Massachusetts Institute of Technology — have become out-and-out criminal organizations, a collection of pay-to-play operations hiding behind a once-great reputation, run by a global cartel (read mafia) of banks and Big Oi corporations.

But all the rest — Stanford, Berkeley, Columbia — are training grounds for the #oligarchs seizing control of our world.

This is what we saw on parade at Donald Trump’s inauguration.

  • Tech bro billionaires
  • Salute to Nazis and the radical right
  • Pardons for violent criminals
  • Donald Trump as a populist.

Mass Ave is the new Fifth Avenue

It isn’t only Donald Trump who can kill with impunity in broad daylight.

In 2013 MIT took $1 million from #JeffreyEpstein (MIT Epstein Report, Page 18, Footnote 21, https://facultygovernance.mit.edu/sites/default/files/20200121GoodwinProcterReport.pdf#page=20) and allowed him to set up #blackmail operations at the MIT Media Lab.

Threatened with exposure in 2019 (ibid, Page 1, Footnote 1, https://facultygovernance.mit.edu/sites/default/files/20200121GoodwinProcterReport.pdf#page=3), the cartel in control of MIT hired #Citigroup lawyer Scott Barshay (ibid, Page 3, https://facultygovernance.mit.edu/sites/default/files/20200121GoodwinProcterReport.pdf#page=5) to stage a criminal defense (aka, "Activist Defense") of their operations, represented as an outside investigation.

It was the first time that corporate strategies, deployed by global corporations against “activist” shareholders, was used against an academic community.

Barshay’s “problematic emails” (Barshay et al., 07:14, https://www.citigroup.com/global/insights/inside-m-a-citi-s-m-a-podcast-m-a-considerations-and-the-new-antitrust-paradigm) were then manipulated to hide the real horror: that MIT senior leaders knew, thanks to the courage of #VirginiaGiuffre and her December 30, 2014 lawsuit (https://media.licdn.com/dms/document/media/v2/D4E2DAQE-BLxjyhjVHQ/profile-treasury-document-pdf-analyzed/profile-treasury-document-pdf-analyzed/0/1734027217469?e=1738800000&v=beta&t=o9oaqP-Brj34Jh5CxtrRCwDYavuxZnt1_k3Er6tAMFw), knew that Jeffrey Epstein was a rapist, pedophile, sex trafficker, and blackmailer AND STILL THEY PROTECTED HIS REPUTATION AND ACCESS TO THE MIT COMMUNITY FOR THREE MORE YEARS, until MIT staff demanded that they stop (ibid, Page 52, https://facultygovernance.mit.edu/sites/default/files/20200121GoodwinProcterReport.pdf#page=54).

Investigate MIT

Not because MIT is important. It isn’t. But it is a model of silence. And just as “problematic emails” have been hidden, those emails are just a #subpoena away. No one is above the rule of law. To prosecute criminals we must prosecute their collaborators.

Prosecute MIT to understand how a global cartel captured a once-great institution, so that horror may wake up the world.
