The Silence Born of the Chaos

The chaos of our lives pushes us back into silence. We feel restless most of the time for one of two reasons.
Firstly, we have expectations of ourselves and we try hard to keep meeting them. The expectations story is a funny one. Because, we almost always never lower our expectations, but we always raise the bar if we get a sense that expectations are getting met often. The chaos gets better for us because of the missing minor adjustments around expectations. In the ideal world scenario, keeping and expecting "expectations" should be none. But, realistically - that's a hard state to achieve. Therefore, acceptance of chaos in life is the most important part of finding peace and growth. We look inwards first, because, it helps us adjust our expectation meter with ourselves. Once the expectations logic is set inside; the outward world isn't noise; anymore.
It's music.
Secondly, we have a dream. We all have one in our lives. As kids, at least we thought we would be someone or something. Over time we willy-nilly discount our dreams as 'childish' or we grow in a direction where mostly our parents or partners want. We generally lead our life with terms and conditions set by others. It's like that "I Agree" part of Apps, which nobody reads and we just use. The only people reading those terms are legal folks who make a living out of it. Even the creator of the terms and conditions of the App "copy-paste" it. This app is our life, these creators are us - the CEO of our own life- and yet we need these lawyers (everything outside our control) to educate us to lead our life. Dreams are planted by a cosmic process and alignment of our subconscious with mind, body, and heart. As a growing kid, learn special skills to ignore and abuse these dreams of ours. In the virtual world of professionalism, we miss the most important ingredients of our life. Our own dreams.
Entropy isn't a bad thing. The chaos of our life is this entropy. If this managed well, entropy lets us have that extra dose of energy that creates faith, belief, and enormous potential to make most of our today and NOW().
It's such an easy thing to write. I have been restless all my life for many things. The sense of restlessness was initially damaging. Eventually, I started to accept this restlessness as a part of my life and learn more about "why" it exists in the first place. The more I learn about my restlessness, the better I get with the chaos of life. I find chaos as a tool to do great things in life. It's all the energy I need to make things happen; but -
one careful step at a time - one day at a time!
