Smart India Hackathon - The Incredible Victory !!

SIH Visionary!!

Hey! LinkedIn Fam

As #SIH is just round the corner so I am receiving a lot many doubts/Queries Regarding #SIH

Like,

?? How to Take Part in it?

?? What PS to Choose?

?? How we can ace it?

?? Tip and Tricks.

?? My Experience

It is seemingly, a bit lengthy Article but, all the things are explained in a very easy manner and if you want to know about SIH then, please spare your 5 minutes, I can bet you that you will find it very helpful and didn’t get bored at any point of time.

1.? How to Take Part in it?

STEP-1 -- GO TO https://www.sih.gov.in

STEP-2 – Select Category of Your Choice Hardware / Software.

STEP-3 – Choose a PS (Problem Statement) according to your skill sets and for which you’re able to give the best solution i.e. you are able to think of all the situations for that problem...

STEP-4 – After this you have to qualify internal Hackathon round in your college and for this every college has its own qualifying criteria so better ask your college Faculties about it...

STEP-5--After Qualifying Internal Hackathon Round you have to Submit Your Idea PPT’S, Team Details etc... Which are mentioned on SIH Portal.

STEP-6--After this they will Shortlist you for the Finals… If they like your Idea.

STEP-7—If you got shortlisted for the finals then you have to go to the nodal centre allotted to you according to your PS for the GRAND FINALE…

2.??What PS to Choose?

?What PS to choose is a questions which is totally depends on-

  • You and Your Team Mates Skill sets.
  • How many situations you are able to determine for a PS as more the situations better the solution will be.
  • And if I would say In terms of a Particular Topic then I would say related to a social cause. ??

?

3.??How we can ace it?

?

->> As it is a Team work so there is a very Famous Quote which I want to mention that is:

? “TEAMWORK LEADS TO DREAM WORK

Think your team as a building and your teammates are the pillars of that building- So Team Bonding is very – very important for this, as every pillar of a building is very-very important to stand out the crowd.

?

  • You should know each other’s Strengths and Weaknesses properly.
  • Motivating Each Other Instead of Demoralizing.
  • Helping Each Other
  • All the things that you can consider in the word “GOOD BONDIND”. ??

?

->> CONFIDENCE

Means there are times where you will not be confident about something but still you have to deliver it will full confidence that the person listening to you will not went into a doubt that, you might be not correct here.

Or if some other team mate have the knowledge about the particular question asked, then he / she can take over it.

?????????????????????????????

->> POSITIVITY AND SELF BLIEF.

Means there were the times where we thought that this is not my cup of tea.

But then, again we motivate each other and gear up with 2x Enthusiasm to win it.

So what I wanna say that there will be times where you feel lost but at that moment instead of giving up motivate yourself with 2x positivity. (IMAGINE YOURSELF HOLDING THAT RS 1, 00,000).

?????????????? ???

4.????? Tips and tricks

  • Make a Prototype type of your solution before the finale as making all the things in 36 hours will not work.
  • There are many evaluation rounds in which the jury will evaluate your solutions and ask for some modifications they need, so you should add those modifications before the next evaluation. (This can be a +1 for you).
  • In the last Round you have to explain the complete solution working, feature, tech stack used i.e. all the things related to your project, to the jury members with the help of a PPT and your working solution.
  • Every member should have the basic knowledge of each other’s work.
