As every year, From Signe Foundation we face another path full of hope, and of course as well, full of projects and collaborations in order to promote the equality of opportunities and the social inclusion of all people,? how we like to say at the foundation everything is possible if we try hard enough¨ and precisely we are not lacking strength nor enthusiasm.
The Foundation
?The foundation is constituted by the Grupo Signe and it has as a main mission contribute and promote the access to academic formation and knowledge for those who got economically disadvantaged, and/or with difficulty of access to them, in order to favour their subsequent labour insertion or for the continuity of their academic training.
Through our daily-work we try to develop as well and ease the investigation and development of programs that improve the socio-cultural environment collaborating with the technology interchange that push the progress?in the public sector as well as in the private one and support awareness and inclusion initiatives of everyone working within our society through art and diversity projects
?Our Projects
?To meet our objectives we have for one year more multiple objectives that gives us illusion and hope, and with those we got the wish to give support and donate? resources to programs following the equality of opportunities in educational matters.
?Among our Project and collaborations, we highlight:
?AETC is a non-profit business association which defends the interest of the businessmen and traders of the municipality of Tres Cantos, it carries out a work of intermediation and interlocution between the different social agents, attending to their training, information and innovation needs and contributing to the economic development of the city and its area of influence.
?Agora′s Revolution is an Horizontal organization that its main mission is give support to those teenagers that have difficulties or disabilities to carry a normal life. Mainly it works on social environments and healthy alternatives of leisure activities that promote the real integration of these young people.
?3. Apadis
?Apadis is an association of parents that through opportunities and assistance, focuses its activity on people with different abilities.
The Signe Foundation collaborates with subsidy of pedagogic material and the creation of multidisciplinary classrooms in one of the programs of the APADIS centre program focuses on the specialized attendance to boys, girls and Young people in their three stages of the escolar journey, whose particularities require special stimuli for the development of their autonomy, social integration and academic progress.

4. Children's Villages
?Collaborating with Aldeas infantiles we achieve that youth without economic resources to pursue their studies. Thanks to our university scholarships, Fundación Signe aims to fight inequality and promote equal educational and professional opportunities for all our young people.
?Scholarships ?The project of my life? ?in cooperation with Polibea Fundation
?Formatives scholarships in social media & ICT with us brain-damage users.
The ?The project of my life? pretends to get that people with big disabilities, can reach the enough autonomy to self-manage their daily-life and reinforce the confidence in themselves. The Proyecto de Mi Vida aims to carry out an exciting and motivating project for these people, which enhances their resilience and generates creativity, commitment, hope and meaning in their lives.
?5. Juanjo Torrejón Fundation
?The Signe foundation finance helps to the training for the assistance of escolar dining rooms through its project ?Social and Labor Integration for Youth and People in Socially Vulnerable Situations? of the foundation Juanjo Torrejon
?The 20 students who got the scholarship by the project did their internships in multiple primary schools under agreements with companies in the sector.
6. Palmyra Teatro
?With the aim of encouraging the access to the cultural programs to make it accessible to audiences and thus promote universal accessibility to the arts and culture, since the beginning of 2018, a collaboration and support agreement was implemented for the inclusive project of the PALMYRA TEATRO company.?
This company, which is composed of actors and actresses with functional diversity, performs performances accessible to all types of spectators, in any space.
?In response to the needs of the project, Signe Foundation provide the essential technical support to make the creative proposal of this project a reality. The main objective of this project is to make the performing arts of dance and theatre accessible to all people, in all spaces and rooms that are provided by our foundation. The access of people with functional diversity to culture is no longer something practically unheard of.
We hope to continue working with these communities that need our support to live better and on equal terms.?
