Who builds software from scratch? And why?
Why would anyone rebuild the company's software from scratch, when there already is a fully functional version? For Mattias Westlund at Visual Art there was never any doubt as to why – the advantages of moving to a completely new and cloud-native platform surpassed any obstacles along the way.
But still, it’s not a small feat to rewrite code from scratch and get everyone around you to join in. We dived into the who’s, why’s and what’s with key project leaders Mattias and Simon and new hire Christian who states that the latest software was a key factor in taking the job.

Take-aways from Digital Signage Summit 2024!
Andrew Jarder, Product Owner of our digital signage software Signage Player, attended Digital Signage Summit Europe for the first time in May. We had a chat with him about his key takeaways and also his view on the digital signage market as a whole.
The overall conclusion was that software solutions are taking centre stage in discussions, and the industry's growth is creating opportunities for many niche players with unique focuses. And naturally, there was plenty of gratification over winning the award for Signage Player.
