This is not just a picture; it’s the compass that guided my heart and my life. Years ago, I stumbled upon this mesmerizing painting. Its beauty captivated me, and I made it my computer wallpaper, not knowing where it was.

After several years, when I was deciding which city to move to in the U.S., I came across this image again. That’s when it clicked—I knew this place. It wasn’t a coincidence; it felt like a sign. And I knew: this was where I was meant to go.

A decade ago, I arrived in San Francisco on a beautiful August morning. This city didn’t just give me a new home; it gave me extraordinary friendships, cherished memories, and a life filled with growth and discovery.

My journey has also been one of education and resilience. I started at Sierra College , transferred to Skyline College , and graduated in the middle of the COVID pandemic—a time of uncertainty, yet also a testament to perseverance. Now, I’m proud to be in my second semester at Hult International Business School , pursuing my master’s degree. Being part of a globally diverse cohort is an incredible experience, one that inspires me to grow personally and professionally every day.

Every step has taught me resilience, adaptability, and the importance of trusting your instincts.
