A "Sighting in the Wild"

A "Sighting in the Wild"

A “sighting in the wild,” as we authors like to call it.

It’s always a thrill to walk into a bookstore and see one of your books featured there.

Especially when you remember the days when that book was just an idea in your head.

Especially when you remember the days you struggled with a page (or paragraph!) and wrote it and re-wrote it and re-wrote it until it was just right.

Having books out in the world making a positive difference for people is a privilege I never, ever, want to take for granted.

Today’s sighting was a special treat, because Talking on Eggshells was face-out on the shelf, along with Marie Forleo’s “Everything is Figure-outable.”

Brings back fond memories of our Marie TV interview where she asked such thought-provoking questions, our conversation went to a simultaneously deep and high level.

It is one of my favorite T.O.E. discussions… ever.

And it doesn't hurt that Marie started by saying, "This is one of the most practical, useful books on modern communication that's ever been written.

I'm not hyping.

Every single page of this book... I'm learning something, I'm reminded of something, I'm telling myself I've got to print that out or share it."

When we're up at midnight trying to remember real-life examples and craft them into insights that connect with readers, we dream of this kind of feedback.

Thank you, Marie, and thanks to all you who have reached out to let me know you've found the book inspiring and useful.

I'd love to hear... Is there a particular idea or story that resonated with you - or that's really made a different in your relationships?

If there is anyone's book that is worth being showcased like this it is yours Sam Horn. All your books are written with such care and I am yet to find a page written by you that is not full of valuable and actionable material. Thank you!
