At the heart ACM SIGGRAPH sit dedicated volunteers - and right in the center are SIGGRAPH Student Volunteers.
In August 2018, SIGGRAPH will be celebrated in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada -and we're looking for exceptional Student Volunteers to bring the conference to life. There's still time to apply to be an SV!

SIGGRAPH Student Volunteers are exceptional students recruited to serve as the main operational support for SIGGRAPH, the world's most prestigious annual conference on the advancement of computer graphics and interactive techniques.
As an animator / recruiter working in this exciting space, we're asking for your help: to promote this opportunity, provide your students a firsthand look into their chosen industries, grow their professional networks, and make lifelong friendships and lasting memories.

My first experience at SIGGRAPH was as a Student Volunteer at SIGGRAPH Asia 2008 in Singapore. While studying at AnimationMentor.com in 2008 I learned about the Student Volunteer Program. I was very inspired and applied with lots of enthusiasm, and I was lucky to get selected and then eventually hooked on! Though I volunteered many SIGGRAPH Conferences in various committees, I can say being Student Volunteer is the best and special for me. The most recent SIGGRAPH Asia 2017 in Bangkok was was one of my best conferences of all as I got to serve Computer Animation Festival & Fast Forward Committees and it has certainly pushed my limits and thrown me many inspiring challenges. I am super excited about being part of Creative Development Committee at SIGGRAPH 2018 and can't wait for the Conference to begin.
