??Siemens MULTIX Impact C DR and Impact VA20 Radiography Systems??
Siemens Healthineers has received FDA approval for its recently introduced MULTIX Impact C DR ceiling system.
The FDA also approved the MULTIX Impact VA20, a new floor-mounted digital radiography system.
Both devices are designed for clinics on a budget, but even so, the manufacturers offer advanced features, including help in optimizing settings to obtain and reconstruct the best possible images.
The systems include wireless detectors, motorized X-ray tube heads, and mobile patient tables.
The 10-inch touch screen display, placed directly on the x-ray tube, simplifies operation and allows radiologists to better adjust the examination field of view and exposure parameters.
The MULTIX Impact VA20 is an advanced radiography system, placed on the floor with an integrated intelligence system to assist the user.
The touch screen and remote interface allow radiologists to easily adjust exam parameters, potentially reducing the need for repeat exams and increasing patient satisfaction.
"By receiving FDA clearance, Siemens Healthineers is pushing the boundaries of what is possible in radiography. We can now deliver both floor and ceiling versions with automation, artificial intelligence, and safety features that expand our customers' digital radiography capabilities," said Niral Patel, Vice President of X-ray Products at Siemens Healthineers North America.
MULTIX Impact offers fast, standardized results. System uptime is ensured by premium components and an innovative service concept.
Speed and reliability provide physicians with timely diagnostic results.
