Aviation Week perfectly described our chalet at the Farnborough International Airshow: it saw a remarkable increase in activity, being twice as busy as last year’s Paris Air Show and three times busier than the 2022 Farnborough event. This surge in interest was primarily driven by aerospace clients eager to learn about the latest advancements in digital transformation and immersive engineering. These technologies offer innovative solutions to make their operations faster, more efficient, and more effective, highlighting the growing importance of digital innovation in the aerospace industry.?

The Siemens Chalet: a visionary experience?

One of the standout features of Siemens' showcase was the immersive technology with the Sony XR head-mounted display (HMD), which is being utilized by NATILUS to develop the next generation of cargo aircraft and reinvent the global air transport industry. A standout exhibit was the Natilus cargo aircraft, which features a ‘Diamond’ cargo bay design that enhances fuel efficiency by 30% and increases cargo capacity by 50%. Natilus, a forward-thinking startup from San Diego, is leading the development of next-generation freighter aircraft that promise to transform regional air cargo operations.?
