What is side stream filter for cooling tower?

Side stream filtration is used to filter a portion of the systems circulating water, removing debris and particles that are adversely affecting the cooling loop and its components (heat exchangers, chillers and more).

How does side stream filtration work?

Using side stream filtration, a portion of the cooling water is continuously filtered and returned to the system to remove suspended solids from cooling tower systems. Side-stream filtration works on the principle that continuous particle removal will keep the system clean
