Is sick care "broke because it's woke"?

Is sick care "broke because it's woke"?

Every presidential cycle revisits the 100 years war to reform Sick care, USA.

Here are the main issues that will decide the 2024 election. Three of the seven, Medicare/Medicaid, abortion and LGBQ policies are directly or indirectly impact sick care policy.

The present converation has introduced the notion that the sick, sick care system of systems, and, America in general is broke because it's woke.

Here is your guide to the meaning of "woke".

Is it really morning in America again?

One candidate, Vivek Ramaswamy, is an example.

Some argue that the free market ideology can never work for sick care, except in isolated circumstances for specific all cash-based services like cosmetic surgery or other elective uncovered benefits. The main reasons have to do with:

  1. There is no Moore's Law for sick care technologies
  2. There is no price transparency
  3. The rules of supply and demand don't work
  4. There will always be a segment of society that will not be able to pay for their care
  5. Costs are perversely inflated
  6. We pay for things that don't work
  7. There are few incentives for those that supply and demand care to say no and significant impediments to care delivery innovation
  8. Third party insurance creates a moral hazard
  9. For profit insurance companies are designed to make profits
  10. Most who benefit from the existing system do not want it to change.
  11. Choosing no care is usually not an allowable option
  12. The sick care industrial complex is too powerful and has legislators in their pockets
  13. Fee for service medicine it too hard to kill
  14. Doctors have relinquished power in the face of increasing delivery system consolidation
  15. Increasing politization of sick care resulting the red medicine v blue medicine

Others claim, despite the best evidence, that Sick Care, USA is the "best healthcare system in the world", so why change it?

On November 5th, 2024, will you woke up to sick care morning in America again?
