A Shy Girl and her brother...who had a dream

A Shy Girl and her brother...who had a dream

For a fun ChatGPT AI experiment for the weekend... We asked it to write a 10-verse song about a girl who was very shy, but slowly got better at public speaking. She and her little brother, who loved to draw, wrote and illustrated a book together to help other kids improve their speaking skills as well.

If you were not aware of their work, check out Snigdha Shenoy and Sandeep Shenoy's ebook "Public Speaking For Kids" which they published when they were 12 and 10 years old (website via Bold Speakers ). Well done, ChatGPT AI and so proud of you Snigdha Shenoy and Sandeep.

Read the poem - hope you will find it inspiring & fun as Deepa Shenoy and I did!

Verse 1:

There was a girl who felt so shy

Speaking in public made her want to hide

But she had a dream she wanted to achieve

To share her voice and make others believe

Chorus:

So she worked and practiced every day

And slowly found her confidence to say

Her words were powerful, her voice strong

And she knew she could make others belong

Verse 2:

She has a little brother who loved to draw

Together, they shared a vision of awe

They decided to write a book that would teach

Kids to speak with confidence and reach

Chorus:

So they worked and wrote every night

With stories that would shine so bright

They illustrated every page with care

And knew their book could help others dare

Verse 3:

They shared their book with family and friends

And saw the positive impact it had on them

Kids and adults who felt just like she did

Were now speaking up and feeling like a kid

Chorus:

So they spread the word far and wide

And watched their book reach every side

It touched the hearts of many who struggled

And they knew their mission was now fulfilled

Verse 4:

The girl who once felt so shy

Was now inspiring others to try

She spoke to crowds with ease and grace

And saw the power of her voice in every place

Chorus:

So she kept speaking and teaching others

To share their voice and overcome their fears

Her book became a guide for every child

Who wanted to be heard and seen in a new light

Verse 5:

The little brother who loved to draw

Was now creating art that would awe

He illustrated the words with such care

That every kid who read it would dare

Chorus:

To speak with confidence and power

To feel like they could reach the highest tower

Their book was now a beacon of hope

And they knew it was the start of a new scope

Verse 6:

The girl and her brother knew

That they had a gift they could share with few

They wrote more books to help others learn

And watched as their passion took a turn

Chorus:

To inspire kids to reach their full potential

To help them feel confident and essential

Their message was now spreading fast

And they knew their legacy would last

Verse 7:

The girl who once felt so shy

Was now a leader that would apply

Her skills to every aspect of her life

And inspire others to thrive

Chorus:

She spoke with passion and conviction

And watched as others listened with attention

She knew that her words could change the world

And help every kid achieve their dreams unfurled

Verse 8:

The little brother who loved to draw

Was now creating worlds that would awe

He saw the power of his art combined

With words that would help every kid find

Verse 9:

The girl and her brother's book

Was now a hit that would look

At every aspect of speaking with grace

And help every kid find their place

Verse 10:

So if you're a kid who feels so shy

And speaking in public makes you want to hide

Remember the girl who found her voice

And helped others make a new choice!
