Yesterday, I had the privilege of attending a captivating Cloud architecture meetup organized by Bert Jan Schrijver, iSAQB Software Architecture Community NL., hosted by Kramp Hub , an intriguing company new to my radar.

Preceding the event, I delved into research and stumbled upon the vibrant developer community ethos that Kramp Hub exudes, notably showcased through their insightful tech narratives. Among the plethora of resources, two standout articles caught my attention:

Titled "Is migrating to cloud worth it & cloud software engineering," the session featured two distinguished presenters.

Firstly, Radoslaw Kowalski from Kramp elucidated their voyage from managing the largest IBM Commerce cluster in Europe to embracing Google Cloud Platform, shedding light on the rationale behind their tech stack preferences. Notably, 谷歌 and OutSystems emerged as the dominant forces across the company's ecosystem, with further insights available on their website. Kowalski candidly shared the obstacles encountered, observations gleaned, and forthcoming challenges looming on the horizon.

Subsequently, Steffan Norberhuis shared invaluable insights into applying software development principles to architect and sustain scalable Cloud infrastructure. Amidst the daunting prospect of Cloud development, Norberhuis, drawing from extensive experience, emphasized the importance of treating Cloud infrastructure akin to software development. Through his journey, he highlighted the necessity of adhering to established principles and standards to craft maintainable Cloud systems.

Both presenters exemplified a commitment to continuous learning and knowledge sharing, making a compelling case for adopting a holistic approach to Cloud architecture. For anyone with a keen interest in Cloud architecture, I wholeheartedly endorse engaging with this vibrant community.
