Show and tell time, beautiful people.
Hello beautiful people,
It's no secret we represent people during difficult times. And during those difficult times, they often need more than legal advice. They need someone to listen, someone to lean on, and occasionally they need someone to hold their hand while they cry. This can be hard because sometimes there is little that can be done to soften the hardships they are facing.
Relationships forged through difficulty, much like the strongest steel forged through the hottest of fire, stands the test of time. We appreciate the relationships forged through our work and those relationships have produced some wonderful gifts to share with you today.
Here are just a few of the gifts we've received over the years: 1) One client gave the motorcycle jacket off his back, twice; 2) A British client gifted our office a razor sharp samurai sword; 3) We received a beautiful Mexican gecko from a dear friend we represented; 4) Two sets of beautiful tribal beads were given to us; 5) Several ornate fans and silk scarves from China were given to us over the years; 6) A statute of lady justice was brought over from Brazil as a thank you for our work; 7) We received two stuffed bunny rabbits from a family in Shanghai; 8) A gorgeous piece of handmade calligraphy was donated to us by a young man named Jerry; and finally, 9) A bracelet with a cross on it was given to us and proudly hangs in the office to this day.

A few more interesting gifts given to us recently include: 1) A box of gift-wrapped magnum condoms (weird, I know); 2) An antique Tiffany clock given to us by a Priest from Tulsa; 3) A lifetime supply of Mexican Coke (soda pop to be clear); 4) A gigantic sack of homemade bread; 5) Several beautiful pens; and finally, 6) Two years ago, a childhood friend of mine, Luke, was bedridden with cancer with no hope of living past six months. Shawn, a client at the time, found out about the situation and had an ounce of marijuana shipped to Luke's house to relieve his pain. Rest easy Luke and thank you Shawn for your gesture of kindness to a man you never knew.
In summary, we know people come to our office carrying with them many imperfections. That said, we are all the more honored to represent them.
