Should you return a missed call?

Should you return a missed call?

Yes!

That’s it

Simple isn’t it.

In 2021, 35% of my revenue was generated by calling back missed calls where no message was left

?

What do you do with missed phone calls?

?Here’s my 7 tips

  1. It takes 8-26 seconds to redial a missed call and find out whether it’s a spam call or wrong number – but at least you know.
  2. If it’s a client, I always call back or text regardless of the time – that’s the agreement we have in place
  3. If it’s an unknown number, and my phone doesn’t show it as spam, they get a call back the same day
  4. I don’t call unknown numbers if a message is not left, after 7pm
  5. Not everyone leaves a message – it doesn’t mean it’s not important
  6. Sometimes I text rather than call back a missed call.
  7. If it’s a work colleague and you respond to an unplanned call/text out of office?- you have set the condition that it’s ok to continue talking to you out of office now and in the future. STOP DOING THIS!

I do - but only out of habit and only when I notice the call. Few seem to call these days!
