New and Improved Twitter...But At What Cost?
Twitter Blue is the platform's?brand new premium option?that will allow you to edit tweets, try out new features early, and read articles from participating outlets ad-free for a monthly fee of $2.99.
The Bulletproof Take:
B****, please.
Under no circumstances would we advise that anyone do this, but digital marketers especially should not dump money into this. For a few reasons.
Proofread your tweets before you edit. If they come under fire, do a mental cost/benefit analysis and delete if needed. We saved you three bucks.
Any new feature is inevitably going to be something they?swiped from another platform?like TikTok. If it becomes a thing, learn it and master it then. Do not spend precious time learning a feature that might not make it past beta.
You shouldn’t be subbed to any relevant outlets anyway.
What are your thoughts? Do these features seem worthwhile? Have you already subbed?
A Bulletproof Tip
"Go back to basics and time yourself. It will feel absolutely humbling and uncomfortable all at once, but tracking your time really helps you see where you spend it. I would do this over an extended period and then revisit it quarterly. This will help you track trends in your behavior. I love tools like Timeular and Time Doctor for this to help make it easier."
