If you are one of the millions of people wondering weather we should trust the Bible, I have a great article I found for you to read on research.lifeway.com.?
MARY JO SHARP (@MaryJoSharp) an assistant professor of apologetics at Houston Baptist University, wrote a great article on why we should trust the Bible. She highlights that over 24 thousand manuscripts of the Bible exist and that is more than any other ancient book.
Professor Sharp also states that the writers of scripture had nothing to gain from sharing their testimonies and many of the disciples faithfully went to their graves teaching scriptures. This was a very helpful and interesting read in which Professor Sharp brought up some very good points.
Please give this article a read and let me know what you think. Also, if you know of someone struggling with their faith, please send them this article and encourage them to read it as well.

2 年Absolutely ! And I love the fact that all the prophecies pointing to the Savior arriving. HE arrived right on time and the exact location..and Everything said about HIS arrival came true. Fast forward to HIS ministry 30 years later....and this man called JESUS did not disappoint with HIS many miracles; raising the dead, walking on water and resurrecting to heaven to name a few! So, if you come across a 'doubting Thomas'.. We have more than enough examples to profess our faith. And Jesus told Thomas: "You believe because you have seen...but even more blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe". Amen!
