Instead of another UK/Scotland referendum, Scotland should join Canada. A joke? Yes but Ken McGoogan’s comment has picked up media attention from Canada to China. 

The BBC received over 1500 responses as to whether Scotland should be come Canada’s 11th province:

- Canada is basically just a big Scotland anyway: cold, beautiful and friendly. 

- Team Canada/Scotland would defiantly win an Olympic curling event.

- Canada already has Nova Scotia so now they’d have Original Scotia too. 

Whatever your point of view, this Scot will be visiting Canada in November to take part in the TGS Global International conference in Toronto….and if I really like it, I might just stay!
