An important question that we often get: "Should I write a book with my own tribe of co-authors?"
I can tell you from experience, writing a solo book takes a ton of time, effort, and money. ?Don’t get me wrong - I’m glad that I did it. I learned a ton, it took forever, and there are many things I would do differently.
Since then I have been a part of 7 amazing collective books – all achieving Amazon Best-Seller status. And the best part – is that collective (co-authored) books have an amazing multiplier effect for the authors. Your expertise is shared with their network, spread by word of mouth, endorsing your work. It's amazing. Added bonus:?I’m forever bonded with strong relationships due to our co-authoring.
There is tremendous wisdom in the quote: ?“If you want to go fast, go alone – if you want to go far, ?go together!” (Anonymous). This rings brilliant and true with the process of co-authoring.?
Here are some reasons why you should consider co-authoring (and leading your own tribe of leaders to become authors as well):
1.???Shared Expertise: By working with co-authors from your own tribe, you can bring together a range of different perspectives and expertise. Thought leaders come together with best practices and expert knowledge. This can help to create a more well-rounded and comprehensive book, with a depth of knowledge and insights that would be difficult to achieve alone.

2.???Collaborative Effort: Writing a book with your own tribe of co-authors can be a highly collaborative experience (you get out of it what you put into it!). However, you must intentionally spend time getting to know your fellow authors. Learn from each other, network, share ideas, and develop your skills as writers and experts in your field.
3.???Shared Workload: Writing a book can be a significant undertaking, and by working with co-authors, you can share the workload. Plus with a publisher like INM, you don’t have to do any heavy lifting. Utilize their amazing process! ?Your book will be completed more efficiently and to a high standard.
4.???Increased Credibility & Visibility: By writing a book with leaders from your own tribe, you can increase your credibility and visibility within your community and beyond. The book can serve as a valuable resource for others and can help to establish you and your co-authors as experts in your field.
5.???Strengthened Relationships: Working with co-authors from your own tribe can help to strengthen relationships and build connections within your community. Likely, you call in similar clients and create partnerships with other B2B leaders. Leverage these relationships for the betterment of all! This can lead to new opportunities and collaborations in the future.
6. Value Creation: Leading the path adds value for you and your authors (marketing but also for obtaining speaking gigs, podcasting opportunities, additional consulting projects, and more!). As an added bonus - when YOU are the collective leader - you also get the royalties from ebook/paperback sales.
