This might annoy you but the answer is… “it depends”.????

If you are;

an investor????

a first-time buyer??????

or a move-up buyer?????????


This could be an ideal time to buy.???

Why?

Investors:?

??Rates are cyclical and will not be at this level in perpetuity;?

???There are lots of entry-level places available which means more leverage!?

???Market rents are super healthy!?


First-time buyers:?

??Competition usually drops off in the summer in general and you often face less competition.?

???more choice?

???More time to consider options?

???Conditional Offers?


Move-up buyer:?

??If you are selling “lower” and buying “lower” that can be better than selling “high” and buying “high”.

???Your move-up home is on the market for a reason.?

???You have more leverage than before?

???You may be able to have a condition of selling your home, depending on the circumstances and whether the Seller agrees.?


There’s no “good” or “bad” time. If anyone tells you there is, they haven’t asked you enough questions about what you want and what your long-term goals are.?
