Should CNN Have Teamed Up with Apple? ChatGPT Says Yes!

The recent announcements from CNN and Apple have sparked excitement in both the media and technology industries. While CNN, led by Mark Thompson unveiled [1] their strategy for innovation Apple introduced the Apple Vision Pro, a mixed reality headset. This got me thinking about the synergies between these developments using a GPT app I created based on the principles outlined in a 1996 HBR article called "Building Your Company’s Vision" by Jim Collins and Jerry I. Porras.
Using this AI tool powered by GPT I interpreted the corporate vision presented by CNN. Surprisingly the AI's interpretation went beyond focusing on digital aspects. It suggested that incorporating reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) technologies could greatly enhance how CNN delivers its content aligning perfectly with the capabilities of Apples Vision Pro.
This perspective, from the AI tool is especially intriguing when considering CNNs shift. While their digital pivot aims to keep up with changing audience preferences the AI tool suggests an approach that could take things to another level. By utilizing reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) CNN has the opportunity to revolutionize the way people experience news making it more interactive and captivating. Imagine a future where viewers aren't just observers, but are virtually transported to the heart of a story fostering better comprehension and empathy.
Leading the charge, in mixed reality technology Apple's Vision Pro headset could play a role in this envisioned future. With its introduction into the market aligning with CNNs transformation there exists a potential for a partnership or technological collaboration. Such integration has the power to redefine how we consume media by offering a personalized experience that resonates with contemporary content trends.
Although speculative this analysis underscores the potential that lies at the intersection of media and technology. It also emphasizes how valuable AI tools like my GPT can be in planning and vision development.
