Shortly after GGI, I joined Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW) .?

“I got introduced to GGI through a competition that was being held by GGI. It was a national-level policy consulting challenge, and?a couple of my friends and I participated together. It went really well for me, and I also got introduced to GGI Masterclasses through that competition.

My first GGI masterclass was Management Consulting and Sustainability, and that was the first time I got introduced to the world of Management Consulting. I was in my final year of Economics and I didn't have much exposure to Management Consulting or the Corporate world for that matter.

The entire 10 hours were so informative and by the end, I realized that was the most productive Sunday I have ever had in my life!?Soon after, I applied for the fellowship, and I was fortunate enough to get selected. The following months of the GGI fellowship were such an enriching experience for me”

Q-What do you think about the GGI community?

“Being a part of the GGI alumni network has really helped me. I worked in a corporate firm for about eight months and soon I realized that I wanted to work in the public policy arena.?

You get introduced to several opportunities that are coming up in different fields through the GGI exclusive community Whatsapp groups.?That's when I heard about the internship opportunity at CEEW by GGI OCS, so I left my corporate job and I applied for?the?same.?It's been three weeks since I started working at CEEW, and my experience has been really amazing, all thanks to GGI!?

It's amazing how the GGI community is always helpful. People from the GGI community are always willing to help, it wouldn't take more than one minute for someone to reach out and help others. That's something that I've learned at GGI, how to be there for others and help each other.?

The Tech Policy White Paper that we worked on was again something completely outside my area of expertise. I had no idea as to how to go about it, and I remember having multiple calls with the?founders regarding the same. They (founders) really helped me navigate how to go about the?paper and also manage my time and other responsibilities. Collaborating with buddies while working on the white paper research was an enriching experience for me!"

Q-One word that would describe my GGI experience?

“There's just so many things that I'd like to say about GGI, but I?think the?"networking" aspect?of GGI?tops the list!"
