OpenAI's o1 takes a leap with model that reason like us
"A large language model is no longer a tool to predict the next word or the sentence but it really grasps the meaning of the question, evaluates all the possible answers and gives the best one. This new model will find extensive use in tasks that involve logic and mathematical reasoning – like software programming, legal advice, prognosis and diagnosis of diseases and scientific research,” said Pawan Prabhat during a recent interaction with The Economic Times on OpenAI's newly launched o1 model which is capable of thinking and reasoning.

Cos Looking to Future-proof Biz from Legal Shocks
“AI companies such as OpenAI and Google have started to indemnify their customers for any kind of lawsuits they may encounter because of their LLM use. However, AI applications are currently treated as experimental, and we as data processors, do not hold responsibility for inaccuracies and hallucinations. And so, our customers (data fiduciaries) do not force this as a contractual obligation” said Paramdeep Singh during a recent interaction with The Economic Times on GenAI compliance with data protection laws.
