There Are No Shortcuts Or Magic Pills

I recently received the following email from one of my mentors Dave Dee [the bolding effect is my emphasis (David Moffet) ]:

“I received the following message from a subscriber:

‘Can you tell me what works quickly and brings in money? I don't have time or money to come to your workshops. Too old, too tired, and run down. There has to be an easy, better way.’

That is a beaten man who has probably fallen prey to countless gurus' hollow promises of great riches with no work. So let me set the record straight:

The holy grail you're searching for does not exist.

EVERY successful person I know works their tail off.

But here's the paradox:

Many financially unsuccessful people work hard on their jobs but are not hard on themselves and, therefore, struggle financially.

You MUST find time to read, study, and then take MASSIVE ACTION and keep doing those things to achieve success.

There are no shortcuts or magic pills you can take.

Here's what is exciting, though:

It is never too late to start.

You are not too old.

You can start a journey to a new life TODAY.

It doesn't matter what happened yesterday or the day before.

You can set your sail in a new direction TODAY.

Will it be easy?

No, but the alternative is to give up and live in misery.

Decide that you've had enough and get moving TODAY.

Pretty powerful stuff there from Dave Dee…

Here are three well known success stories that struggled with failure and setback along their pathways to success… each of them took massive action when faced with the disappointments of difficulty and perceived failure…

At age 65, Colonel Sanders’ chicken recipe was turned down 1009 times before someone decided to say yes to him….

At age 22, Walt Disney was fired from a Missouri Newspaper for not being creative enough. He went on to being nominated for 59 Academy Awards, winning 32 of them.

JK Rowlings had many publishers reject her novel “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone”. One publisher said it was too complex, while another told her that the book wasn’t “polished enough for a publisher or agent to take interest”.

The perceptions of most people about doing nothing and taking minimal action are that things will be OK.

But if that were the case, then society’s numbers regarding success and failure would be different from the abysmal current numbers they actually are:

In 2021, of those people reaching age 65:

1% of people in society end up wealthy at age 65

4% of people in society end up “financially independent” at age 65

95% of people were either dead, or broke, or dead broke at 65.

In 2010, Omer Reed told me that in the USA, for dentists reaching age 65, 95% of them could not afford to retire to the same income they had been used to while working… these dentists were financially still tied to their drills to maintain their lifestyles.

And that’s a tragedy.

And the reason for that is…

And the reason for that is that 95% of the population are either looking for an easy way that doesn’t exist, or have given up on doing what it takes to make success a reality for them.

They’ve given up on themselves…

And sadly, they’ve given up on behalf of their families, and their families’ futures as well…

And that’s a tragedy…

It’s all nice to say….

It’s all nice to say you want to be successful….

But it’s impossible to drive on the road to success while your car is locked in the garage, and the handbrake is on…

That car is going nowhere… wishing and wanting aren’t going to give you results.

Only doing and action will bring change….
