A short Thank-you note to all of you for making "Mums in Technology" a reality

I've been putting off writing this blog about the final week of the Mums in Technology pilot because I didn't want it to be the last week. I'd carry on if I could but, like any pilot in any scenario, I have a take a step back and think about what worked and what didn't and really evaluate.

Looking back at the last 8 weeks, I can't stop smiling :-) It's been an incredible journey. One I couldn't have anticipated in a million years. In June, I was trying to convince everyone around me that it was possible to have Mums, Dads and Babies in the same room learning about Coding. And now it's happened!

We didn't just learn the basics of coding, we have formed a community of incredibly talented people, eager to show that it is possible to learn regardless of your situation if you want to. We have discovered a whole new type of openness, where traditional organisations have opened their doors to Mothers, Fathers and Babies and said, "Come and learn what we do". I'm hoping this wave of openness continues.

It's so important I bring to light the many faces of Mums in Technology, some of the people who helped shape what it has become today and believe that it will continue to help Parents get excited about Tech!
