Short But Sweet: Live in the Silly

Of all the messages that I can impart on you, the fact that you can absolutely create a life you love while having fun will always be at the top of my list.
Too many women in this world are burnt out... Tired of fighting the same fight day after day. The fight to see equal pay and find respect in the workplace. The fight to overcome the negative stereotypes society has embedded into our beliefs-- defining "the perfect body," "the perfect home," and even "the perfect family."
Because, at the end of the day, none of us are perfect. I know I am certainly not.
So remember, no matter where you are in life and what you're doing, don't forget to have fun. Be silly. Joke around. Take a break from the pile of papers on your desk and let your mind reset for 5 minutes. Drink water. Stretch your body.
Do what you need to do in order to create the life you absolutely adore.
Need a reason to laugh?
My husband pretended to be me for a day, and it was the laugh I think we all need right now!

4 年Absolutely! Thanks for the reminder!! <3 The wonderful thing about being a human being is taking part in the human experience, which is different for all of us. When we lose sight of part of the experience - silliness, joy, playfulness, etc. - we lose a big part of being human. :)
