Short summary from ABSL Summit
As always, it was a great pleasure to participate in the ABSL Summit. It offered a unique opportunity to learn, exchange ideas, and reconnect with people shaping the future of business services in Poland. This year, the central topic of most discussions was the future rebuilding of Ukraine. I am thrilled to engage in this subject, as it holds a special place in the heart and soul of SoftServe .
Kudos to Jacek Levernes , Janusz Dziurzynski and the whole ABSL Poland team for organizing this epic event.
We all hold hopes for a brighter future that lies ahead, one that includes Ukraine's strong position within the European family. I believe closer cooperation between European and Ukrainian businesses will expand the talent pool available in the market.
After the Summit, we can be sure that the future of business services lies in AI solutions. Of course, state-of-the-art technologies will benefit us in several ways, making many processes quicker and more efficient. They will also significantly impact the future of the job market. Both employees and employers need to start preparing for it and staying up-to-date. For the workforce, this means broadening the pool of skills and expertise. Most of us will have to learn to work closely with AI and utilize it to its fullest potential. For businesses, it will mean adopting new HR toolkits and recruitment strategies.
The pace of change in the job market is already incredibly fast. As Ali Matar Ali Matar mentioned, the skill set required for every job position changes by about 20% yearly. We must adapt to this new speed and keep learning to avoid falling behind.
As usual, the data that everyone was waiting for was presented in the annual report by Dariusz Kubacki . One of the key takeaways: 8% sector growth YoY and almost 57% of services are high quality and knowledge-intensive.
And Last but not least. I had the great pleasure and honor of supporting "Fundusz Stypendialny Talenty" drive-by Katarzyna Kolasińska and on behalf of SoftServe I found a scholarship to a very talented Damian Kobyliński .

While macro-scale topics and geopolitics were insightful, we can further enrich the experience by focusing on the microeconomy factors and the more broader, multi-dimensional environment affecting operations of GBS and SSC sector in Poland. As an experienced leader, I'm open to new ways of working that technology can enable easily. Let's make the summit more dynamic and interactive, fostering spontaneous dialogues and knowledge sharing.
