A short review of 2022 and 2023 here we come

Well that’s been an eventful year; a time of great change which I thrive on, and learning so much about a new sector to add to my rather overly eclectic journey. The @ One Alliance Digital/Data and Innovation teams have been to Cranfield University to take learning from aerospace, to the 英国剑桥大学 Institute of Manufacturing on fast innovation both trips very generously supported the great and convivial talents of Professors Tim Minshall and John Ahmet Erkoyuncu

We have assembled a new team, tested a raft of new ideas, and are preparing to embark on new initiatives that will support Anglian Water @one Alliance and whilst it's a cliche we have broken down numerous internal silos to learn and share capabilities. I have had the pleasure of working alongside Lindsey Russell (Taylor) and the guidance of a generous SLT not forgetting thanks to my Sweco colleagues in the UK and around Europe.

I also gathered a few thoughts in the Harvard Business Review for 欧特克 : https://bit.ly/3XDDgqX

Alongside this we have supported and continue to support a new generation of digital and technology enthusiasts. In June we supported the Cambridgeshire Day for pupils from Cambridgshire Schools keen to explore future careers. In November we sponsored Norwich's @Syncthecity start up weekend and next month I am pleased to support alongside Miranda Preston a Techathon for school age children over two days during half term.

In 2023 we will explore better use of Machine Learning, Digital Twins, sensors, drones as well as continuing our focus on simplifying systems and platforms. We will work with University of East Anglia and 微软 thinking about ways to make our water systems more resilient and ecologically in a changing world.

Next month alone will see both the launch of the Anglian Water @one Alliance Digital Squad, enabling new capabilities in the application of machine learning followed by support for the and a trial of better way to track our inventory requirements.

Onwards and if you have ideas on how to help our journey do get in touch.
