Short Note On Derrick Rose

This is one article that I don't normally write about in sports but I guess it is a common thing that all of us go through or will go through in our lives whether we are at work or playing some pro sport and this is just one news that I want to talk about with the little time I have here and I will go back into this story with a little more detail. Word coming out of the NBA that player Derrick Rose has decided to call it a career. Another words he has retired from basketball for good.

I am not sure what his reason was but I would say that he has had somewhat of a good career playing for the Bulls and some other teams too numerous to name. He was good early in his career but I would say that injuries caught up to him in the sense that he struggled throughout the years. So that could be one of the reasons why he decided to retire from basketball. I didn't know this until now but he is 36 years old and that is where most players get ready to hang up the shoes and do other things.

So the age he is at I had a hunch that most teams did not want to take him and rightfully so because they want to recruit younger players out there. So I guess that it was best for him to announce his retirement at this time. Too bad because I wanted to see him play much longer but sometimes in life we cannot always get what we want just like him. I am sure that he will find something else to do to occupy his time and life.
