SHORT OF AN EMERGENCY A PSYCHOLOGIST SHOULD NEVER TAKE CALLS DURING A CLIENT'S SESSION!!!

It is very surprising that the Harvard trained Dr. Richard Geist didn't know that the therapy hour belongs to the patient, and therefore phone calls are strictly off-limits short of an emergency. What makes the matter worse is that Dr. Geist would have his wife on speaker phone, so that I could hear her end of the conversation as well!!! How extremely rude and inconsiderate. This happened more than once, and both times were NOT an emergency!!!

This is also after he reduced my sessions down to 15 minutes from an hour!!! Other psychologists told me he was treating me so badly that I would be forced to leave on my own. That way he would not be held responsible! This reminded me of one of the first psychologists I had back in 2004 who told me that if he treated his other patients the way he treated me they would all walk out on him!!! He was narcissist as well.

I felt unseen and not cared for. I felt so small, like a crumb on the floor that he missed with the broom. This is when I started drinking extremely heavy. I hope when people read these writings they will share them with everyone. I will no longer remain silent about the abuse I have taken!
