I am thrilled to share that I recently completed a short course Grouting and Ground Improvement ?July 29 – August 1, 2024 Golden, Colorado USA, offered by https://learn.mines.edu/ggi/agenda/. This course has been incredibly insightful and beneficial, enhancing my knowledge and skills in cement and admixture, grouting methods, ground improvements. The course covered a wide range of topics, from fundamental principles to advanced techniques in cementitious materials and geotechnics . Each module was well-structured and informative. I learned from experienced professional instructors in the hand-on lab and field demo. Their insights and practical examples made the material much more relatable and easier to understand.
I was a volunteer to help preparing the lab demo for Grout Rheology by Brian K. Jeppsen (US Grout and Avanti), Grouting Materials and Chemical Admixtures by Jim Lindsay and Joel Joaquin (Master Builders Solutions), Sand column grouting using ultrafine cement by Brian K. Jeppsen.
I am grateful for the opportunity to have participated in this course and am excited to apply the knowledge and skills gained to my professional endeavors. Thank you very much Assoc. Prof. Reza Hedayat and Colorado School of Mines Center for Underground Construction and Tunneling to organize the short course.
