Netflix is more popular than cable TV and YouTube, according to a Cowen & Co. survey. Respondents were asked which platforms they used most often to view video content on TV. Netflix was the most used, with 27% of respondents choosing it, followed by 20% for basic cable, 18% for broadcast TV and 11% for YouTube. Among those aged 18-34, Netflix scored 40%. Cable providers are struggling to retain viewers — in the first quarter of 2017, cable networks lost 410,000 subscribers while Netflix added 8.3 million in the fourth quarter of that year. ? The U.S. Department of Commerce has started lifting the ban imposed on Chinese phone maker ZTE, reports Bloomberg. 6 年Some malls have failed, others are on the way, but some are still doing fine, thank you.? Aside from over-building shopping centers in the last few decades, why is this?? Why are some still successful?

6 年In my opinion, online shopping is so more fulfilling because you can and WILL find very unique stuff for a great price. Not to mention, no waiting in line and no putting up w/crowds or a rude employee.

6 年Cable bills have costs more every month since they started and it’s going to be their demise in the end, which is right around the corner!! Greed does not pay, it’s a moral crime, punishable by bankruptcy and humiliation!! Well deserved!! (in my opinion)
